Luggage – How big is my suitcase?
This is an essential question when requesting minibus hire in Madrid because the size of your luggage can determine the size of the minibus you need; we have vehicles of different sizes, some with plenty of boot space and others with less.
That is why, when requesting a vehicle, you should tell us what kind of luggage you are bringing, to avoid any unexpected surprises.
How do I measure my luggage?

- First, measure the height of the suitcase, not including the extendable handle.
- Second, measure its width.
- Finally, measure its depth.

What luggage details should I include when requesting a quote?
Tell us how many suitcases the group is carrying and what size they are (hand luggage, S, M, L or XL), as well as any bulky items.
- Number of passengers travelling.
- Number of suitcases of each size: hand luggage, S, M, L and XL.
- Bulky items, such as a bicycle or equipment for an event.
- Type of service: airport transfer, wedding, excursion or at-disposal service.
With that information we assign a vehicle from our microbus fleet in Madrid with enough luggage space for your group. This is especially important for airport to Madrid city centre transfers, where almost every passenger has a suitcase.
Is my luggage insured during the journey?
Luggage in the luggage hold is covered up to €14.50 per kilogram, with a maximum of 15 kg per passenger; hand luggage is not covered.
The transport company is not liable for damage to, loss or theft of hand luggage. If your luggage requires greater cover, you must take it out separately, in accordance with our terms and conditions of hire.

Yes, our minivans have a generous boot and can carry bulky luggage such as a bicycle. Always mention it when you ask for a quote so we can assign you the right vehicle.

No. Cover applies to luggage stored in the luggage hold; hand luggage remains the responsibility of each passenger.
